Как сделать headband (повязку на голову):
Вот как описывает процесс хозяйка повязки:
People on Tribe (and Zia!) have been asking about making tribal headpieces. Here's a headband I just finished, with handy pointers to show you what all went into making it. This isn't so you can copy - it's to show you what a wide range of stuff you can stick on your headband. If you can sew it down, you can add it on there (weight providing)!
The order in which I put this together is:
1. Cut and sew together faux suede and striped cloth for base
2. Sew Banjara scrap down the middle
3. String Turkoman buttons and sew down
4. Sew down dangles
5. Sew down wooden buttons
6. Sew down string of teardrop beads, then add little end bits that curve around the wooden buttons
I pinned each of these on beforehand to see how it would look. I wound up shortening my headband by an inch so the dangles wouldn't whack me right in the ears. This attaches with small alligator clips on either end and small comb in the center, facing back into the hair (those aren't sewn on yet).
P.S. Было бы удобнее, если бы кто-нибудь сделал хороший и понятный перевод инструкции, а то я прочитать и понять могу, а перевести доступно и понятно для народа нет
